LED Outdoor Holiday Lighting
Energy Efficient Low Voltage LED Lighting
The introduction of LED lighting and its use in outdoor lighting
has taken the concept of outdoor lighting to a whole new level.
These specially made LED fixtures can be used almost anywhere and
for any type of outdoor lighting solution. With benefits including:
longer life span, energy conservation, and energy efficiency through
LED technology.
LED outdoor lighting offers a safe and reliable low energy
lighting solution to conventional low voltage halogen lighting.
Conventional outdoor lighting is plagued by high temperatures,
voltage drop and lamp burnout. LED outdoor lighting offers field
proven, economical, and eco-friendly lighting products that are the
most technologically advanced in the industry.

LED Outdoor Lighting Advantages & Benefits
Light Emitting Diode or LED’s have a number of benefits over
conventional lighting:
LED lights are very energy-efficient and can reduce your energy
costs—particularly when the lights are used for long periods of
time, such as in commercial settings. Christmas lights can be both
bright and energy-efficient and can often replace the need for
regular porch or yard lighting over the holiday season. Despite a
higher initial cost, LEDs are a clear winner over incandescent C7 or
C9 lights when you compare the cost to purchase and operate a system
for several years (and beyond).
LED lights use a solid-state semiconductor to convert electricity
directly into light. LED lights use less than one-tenth of a watt,
produce virtually no heat and have an extremely long service life --
up to 100,000 hours in some cases. The color of the light is
determined by the chemical makeup of the bulb, with red, green,
blue, white and yellow currently available. The color also
determines its cost, with white and blue LED’s being the most
costly.
Most folks have been happy with the latest generation of LED
lights. The larger lenses make them brighter and they have almost no
impact on your electric bill. Folks who leave their lights up
year-round are seeing some failures. Seasonal products are not meant
to be left in place all year. Exposure to ultraviolet light and the
elements can weaken the wiring and shorten the life of the product.
Energy-Efficiency
- 0.08 watts per LED C7 bulb; (compared with 0.48 watts for an
incandescent mini lights and 6.0 watts for a standard incandescent
C7 bulb)
- Reduce energy consumption by as much as 90% compared to
traditional lights
Long Life Span
- Produces a more durable light than can burn brightly for over
60,000 hours, (over 10 years of continuous use)
- Last up to 7 times longer
Safety
- Uses a light that produces almost no heat, thereby reducing
fire damage
- There is no chance of combustion from the cool temperature
bulbs
Sturdy Bulbs
- The epoxy lenses are virtually indestructible
- They are more durable, with no filaments or glass bulbs to
break
Easily Strung
- Up to 20 strings can be connected end-to-end without
overloading a typical household’s electrical circuit
Lamp Replacement
- If a bulb does burn out, the other bulbs will stay lit, so you
can easily replace the bad bulb.
- They do cost slightly more than conventional lights, but may
more than pay for themselves within a single season.
