Decorating Elves lights up everything from hotels to condos, to restaurants, and to high end private homes. There’s never a dull moment in the constantly changing world of outdoor lighting design, so you won’t have to worry about getting bored from repetitive work or sitting in an office all day. You’ll be outside in the fresh Florida air, getting some sunshine and seeing new places, all while helping design and install custom lighting displays that have captured nationwide media and public attention.

You don’t need to be an expert to find your place at Decorating Elves. If you don’t mind living on top of a ladder and enjoy being outside, our in-depth training program will provide all the skills you’ll need to set up beautiful landscapes, events, and holiday lighting. You also do not have to worry about the upfront costs of purchasing tools and uniforms as we provide these to our employees completely free, along with a few goodies to boost your company pride.
The benefits don’t stop there! Decorating Elves’ employees enjoy bonuses and other financial incentives designed to reward hard work and superior performance. Best of all, at the end of each year, our employees take part in a company Christmas breakfast and raffle where they can win awesome prizes such as a kayak, event tickets, and more! Holiday Lighting Installer
Are you ready to help bring some joy to Tampa Bay? At Decorating Elves, we build upscale holiday lighting displays that have been featured nationwide, and we’re looking for a few new elves to help hang lights and install other decorations during the upcoming holiday season! Become a part of the team that’s been bringing holiday cheer to Tampa Bay and surrounding areas for almost 20 years.
This is a full-time, seasonal position and is available immediately.
Boom Truck / Lift Operator:
If you’re certified to operate a boom truck and lift, come to help us spread some holiday joy high in the sky all over Tampa Bay! At Decorating Elves, we build upscale holiday lighting displays that have been featured nationwide, and we’re looking for a few new elves to support our lighting installers this holiday season by operating boom trucks and lifts. Be a part of the team that’s been bringing holiday cheer to St. Petersburg and surrounding areas for almost 20 years.
This is a full-time, seasonal position and is available immediately.
Sales Representative
No matter how amazing our outdoor and holiday lighting displays are, if we have no customers, no one gets to see them. Our team of talented sales representatives keeps us going by getting the word out about our award-winning designs to potential customers. As the face of the business, our sales representatives know how important it is to be professional, courteous, and knowledgeable about the services we provide. If you love meeting new people and live to make a deal, our sales representative might be for you.
As a sales representative for Decorating Elves, you’ll be responsible for acquiring new customers for all four types of lighting services we provide
Landscape Lighting Technician
Do you have a passion for outdoor landscape lighting? Do you have a basic knowledge of residential or commercial electrical systems? If so, we’d love to add you to our team of outdoor and holiday lighting professionals at Decorating Elves!
Our landscape lighting technicians bring comfort, safety, and security to homeowners with beautiful outdoor lighting setups. With our breathtaking lighting designs, outdoor spaces come alive, setting the stage for nightlife entertainment all over Tampa Bay.
Our landscape lighting displays have been featured all over the United States in print, online, and even on television! When you join our team of landscape lighting specialists, you’ll work on exciting projects that you’ll be proud to include in your portfolio, all while building your confidence and skill set. Holiday Lighting Crew Leader
Do you love the way everything brightens up around the holidays? Are you creative, organized, and have amazing project management skills? If so, we’ve got the perfect job for you!
We’re looking for a lead elf to manage a crew of holiday light installers, but we’re not talking about your grandma’s nativity scene. At Decorating Elves, we build upscale holiday lighting displays that have been featured nationwide on television, in print, and online.
We need a crew leader that is inspired by outdoor lighting design, able to complete jobs on time and within budget and is dedicated to making their community a more beautiful place. If this sounds like you, we invite you to come to be a part of the team that’s been bringing holiday cheer to St. Petersburg and surrounding areas for almost 20 years.
The ideal candidate for this position is someone who understands that actions speak louder than words. We don’t necessarily care about the experience in the outdoor lighting industry. However, we do want someone who can get the job done with the same commitment to high-quality work and excellent customer service that has made us Tampa Bay’s premier outdoor and holiday lighting contractor since 2003.
