Holiday Lighting Installer
Are you ready to help bring some joy to Tampa Bay? At Decorating Elves, we build upscale holiday lighting displays that have been featured nationwide, and we’re looking for a few new elves to help hang lights and install other decorations during the upcoming holiday season! Become a part of the team that’s been bringing holiday cheer to Tampa Bay and surrounding areas for almost 20 years.
This is a full-time, seasonal position and is available immediately.
Pay
- Lighting installers start out at a competitive market rate per hour after training, with raises and bonuses earned based on performance.
- Training pay is less per hour, but only typically lasts 2-3 days before moving to full pay.
Duties
- Hang up holiday lighting on the exterior of homes, businesses, and more
- Put up outdoor holiday decor
- Climb ladders
- Work with a team to efficiently complete lighting displays
- Communicate with team members frequently
- Follow all safety regulations, including COVID-19 protocols
- Remove lighting and decor at the end of the holiday season
Requirements
- No experience required! We train!
- Have a willingness to learn
- Be 18 years of age or older
- Have reliable transportation to and from different job locations (bikes and public transportation are okay!)
- Be on time!
- Be ambitious and motivated
- Have a positive attitude with the ability to handle constructive criticism and instructions
- Not have a fear of heights
- Can climb, crawl, bend, and squat repeatedly for the entire workday
- Can work while standing on a tall ladder for extended periods
- Can lift a minimum of 50 lbs
- Can work outdoors during daylight hours
- Have strong communication skills
